The following resources provide historical information about the ÖØ¿ÚζSM family in the United States. A Brief History of the ÖØ¿ÚζSM Order in the U.S., by Sister Mary Nona McGreal, OP offers an overview of the development of the ÖØ¿ÚζSM family. ÖØ¿ÚζSM Monastic Search is a journal first published in 1980 and produced by the Conference of the Nuns of the Order of Preachers of the United States. ÖØ¿ÚζSM nuns authored the majority of articles, which explore ÖØ¿ÚζSM theology, spirituality and insights gained from study and prayer. Memoirs: Historical and Edifying, of a Missionary Apostolic of the Order of Saint Dominic Among Various Indian Tribes and Among the Catholics and Protestants in the United States of America by Father Samuel Mazzuchelli, OP (1806 - 1864) chronicles his missions in the Midwestern United States, as well as discussions on the state of Catholicism and Protestantism.
