Sr. Kathy Brazda, CSJ, MAEA ’97 was the subject of a recent feature published by The National Catholic Reporter.

The article looks at Brazda’s life (including her 500-mile walking pilgrimage across Spain on the Way of St. James) and her new role as president of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious.

The conference represents two-thirds of the 35,000 women religious in the United States.

Brazda, who grew up in Cicero, is president of the Congregation of St. Joseph, a religious community supporting ministries and social justice initiatives in the United States and around the world.
