Kyuha Cho is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Brennan School of Business, ÖØ¿ÚζSM, where he focuses on teaching undergraduate courses in managerial and financial accounting. Dr. Cho earned his Ph.D. with a concentration in Management Accounting from Cornell University and holds a B.S. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from Seoul National University, Korea. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), honored with the 'CMA Student Certificate of Distinguished Performance,' and has successfully passed the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) examinations. In addition, he has previously held the designation of Financial Risk Manager (FRM). Prior to his academic career, Dr. Cho accumulated a decade of professional experience at a leading Korean oil refinery. In this role, he gained substantial expertise in managerial accounting and finance, encompassing areas such as budgeting, performance evaluation, and financial risk hedging. Dr. Cho's research interests are concentrated in the fields of management control systems, cost management, and sustainability, with a particular emphasis on service firms.
