Gizem Arat is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at ÖØ¿ÚζSM. Prior to joining ÖØ¿ÚζSM, she got her social work degrees in diverse contexts, including Turkey, USA, and Hong Kong. She also worked in Hong Kong academia to establish a global perspective in social work. Her research interests include social justice-oriented resilience and promotion of multiculturalism in East Asian region as well as developing a multidimensional cultural humility in the US-based social work education. Her recent research projects focus on exploring students' expectations on cultural humility in US higher education.
